The metalcore maniacs from down under are back with their 4^th studio album and like the previous 3, it will be released on Epitaph and it will make your ears beg for more.

The new Parkway Drive album, Atlas, was released on October 30^th and in less than a month, already has some critics declaring it the metal album of the year. Atlas boasts 12 tracks and a total run time of 48 minutes. The 5-piece, Australian band has been a big name in the scene since their debut album in 2005 but Atlas not only proves why the band is so popular but why they deserve to stay at the top. As a band, they seem to be at their prime in terms of both songwriting and live performances. That is to say that they’ve always been regarded as a great band but they just seem to keep picking up steam as they go – if you aren’t already into them, now would be a good time to get acquainted.

Unfortunately for all you metalheads, you may have to wait a while to see these guys live. They’re currently on tour in Europe ad then head to their home continent (Australia) through December. Rumors of a North American tour this Spring/Summer are floating around, so keep your eyes peeled.
